Me
Martin Botvidsson grew up on a farm along the east coast of Sweden. As a curious kid, he spent hours experimenting with any camera he could find, creating macro shots of TV test patterns using disassembled binoculars and compact cameras. However, his passion for photography didn’t turn into a profession until much later.
Initially specializing in portrait photography, Martin eventually expanded into still life, food, and product photography, where he found his true calling. Known for his innovative lighting techniques, Martin approaches each project with a drive to give every subject a distinctive and captivating look. His work is celebrated for its precision, attention to detail, and masterful retouching.
In addition to his commercial work, Martin shares his expertise through photography workshops worldwide, inspiring and educating aspiring photographers. He also runs the largest Swedish photography YouTube channel, where millions of viewers from across the globe learn about photography and lighting. Aptly named Martin Botvidsson, his channel has become a go-to resource for those eager to refine their craft.
